Use five separate access checks

A feature can be included in a plan and still be unavailable to one server or staff member. Read the selected-server Plan page together with the feature guide and the current command/page response.

Feature access checks
CheckQuestionExample
Runtime approvalMay this Discord server use the current ModFlow runtime?Private-beta access is approved or blocked.

Rollout/feature flagIs the capability exposed for this server now?Feature-flagged or controlled preview.
Operator permissionMay this role open the page and perform the exact action?Cases view versus execute; Soundcheck view versus start.
Maturity/readinessHow complete and reliable is the documented behavior?Alpha, Beta, Experimental, or Partial.

In-scope feature groups

The current product can expose features through Free, Premium, or controlled preview. The selected-server Plan page and feature response remain authoritative; the table below is a staff orientation, not a price or purchase promise.

Check one feature for one server

  1. Confirm the selected server

Read its name and numeric Discord ID before opening Plan or the feature.

Check: The access check applies to the intended server.

  2. Open Billing & Plan

Read the public Free/Premium label, subscription/access status, and feature inclusion shown to your account.

    Check: Plan inclusion is known.

  3. Open the feature guide

Read audience, availability, maturity, permissions, and limitations.

    Check: Non-plan conditions are visible.

  4. Test a safe read

Open the page or use status/list/autocomplete without performing a destructive write.

Check: Current rollout and operator permission are confirmed.

  5. Use an alternative when blocked

Follow the documented Case, record, direct action, or admin workflow instead of bypassing the gate.

Check: Work continues within supported features.

Actively changing feature access

A plan label does not make actively changing work ready for use. Reserved guides lists those areas and their future documentation locations without publishing operating or commercial promises.

Pricing and purchase boundary

Pricing and general purchase availability are not published by this handbook. The repository can contain protected checkout or subscription plumbing while the public alpha/preview terms remain unsettled. Staff must not quote a price, refund policy, cancellation window, grace period, or restoration promise unless the current hosted billing surface or an official ModFlow communication states it for the server.
